Tall Ships Chicago 2010 arrives at Navy Pier August 24 with more than 20 magnificent Tall Ships docked exclusively at Navy Pier. As part of the festivities, there will be special fireworks displays each night through August 29. Shoreline will be offering Architecture/Fireworks Cruises and Lake Fireworks Cruises nightly during Tall Ships! (Please select your choice of Cruise and Dock Location.)

For a great opportunity to see the Tall Ships in action, try a Shoreline Lake Michigan Cruise. Our cruises will be on the Lake during many of the Tall Ships "Sailaway" Cruises so our passengers should have great views of one or more of these majestic vessels*. Shoreline Lake Cruises depart from our dock at the West End of Navy Pier daily from 10:00 a.m. Cruises will stop at the north end of Navy Pier for photo ops of the Class A Tall Ships docked there before continuing their Lake Michigan Cruise.

Tall Ships Architecture Fireworks Cruises

Architecture Fireworks Cruises depart Ogden Slip at Navy Pier for a dramatic, 75-minute Chicago River Architecture Cruise led by an experienced, entertaining Shoreline guide. The cruise then returns to the Ogden Slip dock area to view the Navy Pier fireworks. Departure times are 8:30 p.m. Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, (Aug. 24-26) 9:15 p.m. Friday and Saturday (Aug. 27-28) and 8:00 p.m. Sunday (Aug. 29).

Tall Ships Double Fireworks Cruises West End Departure

Enjoy a rare opportunity to see two dazzling fireworks displays Tuesday through Thursday (Aug. 24-26) during the Tall Ships Festival! Shoreline's special Lake Fireworks Cruises include an up-close view of both the Tall Ships and Navy Pier fireworks displays on these evenings. The 60-minute cruises leave from Shoreline's dock at the West End of Navy Pier.

Shoreline's Lake Michigan Fireworks Cruises include a Lake Cruise and a front-row viewing of the Navy Pier fireworks featuring a Tall Ships theme. Cruises are available Friday through Sunday (Aug. 27-29) during the Tall Ships Festival. These 45-60 minute cruises depart Shoreline's dock at the West End of Navy Pier.
